How to kill particles while hitting a collider body

Hi,

Is there a way to kill particles emitted from an emitter after hitting  particles from another particle system?. I made one particle system as rigid body and another as collider body but couldn't find a way to make rigid body particles disappear on hitting the collider particles.

I am not using any plugins.

No, I don't think a standard emitter has that sort of advanced function - it really is very basic in that regard. To do something like actual particle death and collision without plugins you'll be needing an Xpresso-based TP system, in which I am not an expert !

 

If you had a more recent version than R19 there would be things you could do to fake it using zero scaling and fields, but back in R19 that may be impossible without Xpresso help.
