How to Loft tracer splines

It won't loft because a loft requires more than 1 spline ! Despite your tracer producing loads of segments, that is not what a loft wants - you'd need to split those into individual tracers and loft between them. I imagine that is most easily achieved by making a series of child nulls along the blade, and tracing those individually with many different tracers, which then get arranged under the loft in the correct order to produce a viable surface.

Yeah, and thinking about it I reckon you only need 2 of them, one at each end ! Or perhaps not, if you want the curvature in the swoosh ! But still I think only 3 or 4, especially if you sub-d the loft afterwards 🙂

You're welcome 🙂 Interesting however that you didn't need to do individual connects on the tracers. My hierarchy was thusly (look s a bit different in 25 obviously ! )...

..but whatever works hey ? But I am confused about why yours works - if I replicate your hierarchy mine doesn't !
