All,

 

I just ordered the training and my email with the download link came pretty fast (less than one minute).      Now apart from blocked domain issues which I have struggled with on emails from Maxon in the past, all I can offer is this:

This screen appears AFTER you hit "Checkout" but it is NOT the final step.  The final step is to hit "Place Order".

Well....unfortunately, there are still problems:

This is using MS Edge and Chrome.  You do get a "Starting Download" message but then nothing happens.   As both share the same core architecture, I tried Firefox and that successfully downloaded.

 

So for those who get the download links, if you are still having problems try another browser (e.g., Firefox).

      Help with C4D hair system

      About the frame 3 thing: Go to the hair object > under 'dynamics' there's an option 'animation'. Set the frames to '3' (in your case) and click on 'relax'. This will play the animation for 3 frames. After that, go to Hair > Hair edit > set initial state. This will freeze the current state of the hairs. You can then go back to the Hair object and disable the 'dynamics', to make sure the hair stays the same.

      Character Object: Controllers and Arm FK to follow Shoulder

      Took a quick look and it seems you have to enable fk in controls to get the hips to move the arms. There are some ik/fk switches but I am not sure how functional they are, it would take a lot of time to dissect the rig itself. Make sure you change the display to show full hierarchy in OM, it will be easier to troubleshoot
