Maxon licence managment

I'll try to be polite.
Maxon licence management is one of the worst, if not the worst in the industry right now.
I personally, and everybody in my studio has problems with maxon licensing all the time.
With every iteration of this system, Maxon is trying as hard as it can to make harder and harder to unasign and assign licenses.
Now it takes like a 20 clicks with typing passwords on the way to assign license.
Today, I cant even log into your system. I have to deliver something today for my client, an I can't even open Cinema 4d because of someones greed. This behavior will not lead to anything positive for your company in the long term.

Ok, I saw email from Maxon considering today's maintenance , but every other thing still applies.

Maxon gave me a free day to continue doing stuff in Blender.  I also got to spend time on Reddit and watch the carnage in the Cinema4D subreddit.    Cant' say I remember ever seeing a company the size of Maxon shut down for hours to update a licensing server.   So there's no redundancy, where a server was ready to go and switch over?   Scary.   Never had issues with Autodesk and Adobe which also rents their software with online licensing.

I will say that the worst licensing to me is the Pantone Plugin for Adobe illustrator.. every single time I want to use it.. I have to relogin to google..

anyways.. with maxon.. it hasnt been a terrible experience for me personally. but if my internete is out or if im rendering overnight and wifi glitches.. I wake up with it paused. I just wish Maxon gave a 24hr grace period if it cant reach the licensing server

Depending if you need them for print or just general 3d material colour picking. I find this is enough for me:

Just type in the pantone code and it spits out all the rgb, hex, cmyk, lab, hsl etc codes.
