  1. You can make these scissor jack type objects using cloners, but you need to do some math to drive the cloner X + Y steps. In this scene I vary the angle of the arms and the cloner X is a function of cos(angle) and the Y a function of sin(angle). there's an open - closer slider control stairs.c4d (angles in XPresso are in radians)

  4. Brilliant. Works perfectly. Again - thank-you.

  5. This is an example of my work where the floor tiles had to be exact dimensions. The floor is driven from a texture I created and mapped with exact UV dimensions. Very easy process in 3ds max to get the UV dims correct, I am hoping I can replicate this in C4D.

  6. Bezier spline is not the best solution for simple animations, but when used, needed to adjust intermediate points (from Adaptive to Natural or better Uniform) and increase them to higher value. Higher value means more precise animation. And as prevention for crazy rotations of cone object is needed to use spline rail. Simply copy source spline and slightly enlarge... 7. Yeah I stocked up the beer fridge a week ago in case I had to go into a 14 day self quarantine. Didn't want to run out 🙂 From midnight tonight all people entering New Zealand except a few close by Pacific Island are required to self quarantine for 14 days. Cruise ships are banned. Certainly some interesting times ahead. Stay safe everyone and wash your hands, a lot.

  8. You might be better off drinking it : ) To be useful as a disintectant you need about 70% alchohol content - around 125 degree proof.

  9. You should prety much be able to follow this, although in Modo. This is a paid for tutorial the video bellow is a intro to it. https://www.foundry.com/products/modo/paid-tutorials/character-creation Next Pluralsite. https://app.pluralsight.com/player?name=cartoon-characters-cinema-4d-1788-m1&mode=live&clip=0&course=cartoon-characters-cinema-4d-1788 What you wont find is someone doing a tutorial where they do the whole process Modeling, Sculpting, texturing, UVs, rigging, animation in one single app, nobody does that. Your always find Zbrush, or another sculpting app part of the workflow, Marvelous Designer, Unfold3D, Mari, Substance Painter in workflows, and more often than not the best training will be in Maya, or Max.
