  1. Yes I don't think I'd use a parametric setup for many of those - perhaps 2 at most. But all can be done with standard poly modelling techniques, and some can be started with splines in various generators, or use various deformers at some point in their construction, but most will probably have to be made editable to get refined and finished off nicely. Topology is very important to a lot of these sort of forms so we do need to pay constant attention to edge flow and when subdivision is ideal (and more importantly when it is not) to make sure we are getting the right sort of tight clean results. Now I could show you, in various levels of detail how to model each and every one of those, but life, time and forum space is short, so how about you pick one that most intrigues you and we'll work on that ? 2. I had one crash during 7+ hours of use today. Before this it would have been one at least every 15 min. I ticked Hi-Res to see if this will increase stability.

  3. Right-click on the object or tag -> Take-Submenu -> Delete from all takes And, yeah, that command definitely needs a better wording, it's totally counter-intuitive...

  4. Honestly, I think MAXON sales would increase if they offered an indie perpetual license for 50% of the current price ($1750 base and $500 upgrade cost) but with rendering limited to 2560 x 1440 and animations limited to 300 frames. That keeps it purely in the hobbyist category -- big enough to appreciate your work on mid-range monitors with animations long enough to show off what you just learned. Of course, they could do nothing and let the hobbyist market completely go to Blender. I wonder how painful it will be for them to watch Blender catch up and over-take C4D in ALL areas (interface, features, speed, quality, stability). I would imagine that will be a painful thing to endure after all the work they have put into it. But there is time for MAXON to consider an Indie version because given Blender's pace of development they have at least until...hmmm....say.......some time in June before they need to start worrying. 5. Well, you can always plug the noise node to drive your pose. Then you can further animate any parameters of noise like amplitude or frequency.. example

  6. No, but there may be ways around this. If you Connect & Delete both splines then do Current State to Object, put that under an Extrude Generator with 0 thickness that should give you geometry with the right amount of points on both inside and outside circles.... now - you can't belt to a generator, but you can make that editable and then belt to the poly object result... does that help you ? Also please update your profile to the version you are actually using - Prime doesn't have cloth ! CBR
