Lols - no, that's not how it goes, but I can see why you might think it is, because good Zbrush artists make it look like it is easy. Also let's not forget that most videos shows things at up to 10x actual speed, so this too makes it look like magic happening quite quickly, when in reality it has taken many many hours.
But if you spend an hour in Zbrush trying to recreate that sort of thing, you will quickly realise that you are missing some essential ingredients and you may end up with an disappointingly woeful virtual pile of clay !! 🙂
Sculpting might be a completely different way to create models, but it is neither easier to master, and arguably much harder to get convincing results initially than more technically-based methods which are a lot more distant from traditional drawing skills.
Now, all your problems are no longer technical in nature, but require new knowledge of anatomy and form sculpture techniques, and everything that comes with that. If you can't paint and can't draw, that is going to hold you up in the sculpting department I would say, certainly much more than it would with any other modelling technique, although like anything, not to a degree you can't overcome with perseverance. But it will take massive amounts of practice, so I would say you could never consider it to be an easy alternative to poly modelling unless you already have that anatomical form knowledge that might come from being good at drawing or painting.
