  1. @hvanderwegenHere is a pic of my IDLE temps: https://imgur.com/diLfxJH OK so I took of the Coldplate. You can see in the Pics the spread of the Thermal Paste that was applied, also the wrong Back plate was used as you can see in the pics. This wrong backplate was for the previous Intel CPUs, how ever it did provide a closer fit on the CPU since it was hitting the 4 screws on the back of the MB as you can see in the pic. Now I have Installed the correct backplate that fits perfectly. And still the results are no good, now they are a little worse even.. 😞 Thermal Paste Spread on CPU: https://imgur.com/NuSV2SY Thermal Paste Spread on ColdPlate: https://imgur.com/1yAHop6 Back Plate Used before: https://imgur.com/ZfHhjSE Back Plate Used now: https://imgur.com/SaqGRPa
  2. @imashination I just tried with the radiator removed from the Case, placed it next to the case with nothing to obstruct the airflow, still no change... No, the plastic is removed for sure, I know that can be a common mistake but I made sure it is removed here... Sure there is Thermal paste added on the CPU before putting the Coldplate The Pump, I just connected it to a SATA port with a supplied converter, as the manufacturer instructions. This way the PUMP gets constant 12 volt and spill all the time at full speed, I can feel the PUMP case vibrating, so it is spinning.. Radiator fans are always spinning at 25% as far as what Armory create and some other Monitoring programs show... Can not hear water, but when I hold the Pipes I feel vibration... Coldplate screwed on good for sure... Nothing blocking the fans... Could the problem be that on the AIO it is NOT specified that it is for the 1700 socket? But can be mounted good, and covers the CPU completely...? P.S. this is the AIO I have... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Watercooling-Quiet-Pure-Loop-360mm/dp/B08K3P1KRY/ref=sr_1_1?crid=ZQ0XAG4FI05D&keywords=be+quiet+pure+loop+360&qid=1651010519&sprefix=be+quiet+pure+loop+360%2Caps%2C77&sr=8-1
  3. @imashination @hvanderwegen So you both agree that the case could be the problem even if it is all opened up like this with all the panels taken of...? And what do you think I if I got this case: https://www.thermaltake.com/core-p3.html It is the one that I can get in my country at around the same Price range...
  4. It is a 1080 🙂 The temps are the same even like this with the case fully opened, but when I do render with Arnold the GPU is idle, not hot at all, around 35 degrees Celsius...
  5. OK I understand now, my bad. Here is the case that I have... https://www.thermaltakeusa.com/s500-tg-mid-tower.html So the plan was to maybe use the case like this, not close it back up at all if it helps... or maybe get a full open air case like the TT Core P3... What do you think, could this case be the reason I am getting these temps...? The first setup was just like you said, the top fans, that are the fans of the radiator were pulling air OUT of the case, so I taught since the air in the case is already kind of warm, maybe that is the reason why the water in the radiator is not being cooled, so I flipped them in order to pull fresh air from the outside trough the radiator in hopes that the 2 front fans would push it all out on the back with the little help from the back fan... ???
  6. Well on the Motherboard right next to the Connector it is written AIO_PUMP...
  7. Here is a pic just like that... https://imgur.com/sab0ej4
  8. In the picture that you can find on the link, the Blue arrow shows where the pump is in this AIO. So there should be no problem with that since the Radiator is on the top, the small air pocket is on the top and all should be good. The PUMP is connected to CPU_OPT and I can feel it vibrating/spinning. The AIO 3 fans are connected to a splitter that came with them and that one is connected to the CHA_Fan2... Motherboard bios was updated before win Install to the latest version. When I start aa render the Radiator fans do speed up.. Not sure what is wrong, still have to go back and try to reinstall the Cold plate over the CPU, might not be tight enough... The MB I have is the ASUS Rog Strix B660-f... https://imgur.com/a/XXDQpIv
  9. And is it possible that the closed case can also contribute? Would I be better of with a Open case? something like the Thermaltake Core p3...? I will reinstall the AIO on the CPU, to see if anything changes...
  10. @Mike A @Cerbera @Pinin THX for the idea, Well as far as I know the AIO is fitted correctly...What I did so far is strip the PC Case, took off all the sides and turned the AIO FANS so that they pull in the air from the outside. Now you can see the new results, non of the cores are hitting 100. Average is around 93... Could it be possible that the AIO is not 1700 socket type? However it fits over the CPU just fine, it is a lot bigger then the CPU, so the CPU is covered... What could be the normal temps of this CPU during render in C4D rendering with Arnold... https://imgur.com/LVh9NOL https://imgur.com/sab0ej4
  11. Hi 😄 Ok so I finally got enough money to upgrade my system 🙂 I jumped 8 gens, from i7 Devils Canyon to the i9 12900k. I knew this CPU runs hot and did my research but did not know it ran this hot, is this normal? or can I do something to make it run cooler While on full load rendering with Arnold in C4D R25... I have the Be Quiet Pure LOOP 360 AIO with 3 fans for the CPU cooling, a closed case and a huge fan in the front of the case to push fresh air in it so the AIO is pulling out of the case cooling the water and the hot air goes out of the top of the case...
  12. Hello 😄 Can anyone help me set up the textures on this Model for ARNOLD Render Engine? I have tried a lot and watched a lot of tutorials, but I can not seem to get a good look for him, as realistic as possible... Please help 😄 You can download the model and the textures from the link... Please do not use this model in any other way, it is a part of an ongoing project... THX in advance 😄 https://www.dropbox.com/s/lip1armsapdo6ub/nibiru_6482_1.zip?dl=0
  13. I am thinking of something like this vide maybe, but instead of the camera PIVOT being on the middle. you would rotate the object... kind of like what you would do in Marmoset Viewer, just without the need for a separate program? I guess that is the best way I can explain it... So the goal is to send the finished product in a Discord group of people who are not all 3D artist, they could open the file or a link and examine the Model in 3D... for free...
  14. I will take a look into it, but it does not seem to be what I need. I am thinking more of a rendered out video on a loop that has a 360 camera in it and you can look around in it, look around the 3D object in the video... that is the best way I cam explain it...
  15. Hello 😄 so I was wondering, how can I make this into a file, or maybe some kind of picture which I can send over to someone and they can click on it and watch it in 3D, not as a video, I want them to be able to interact with it... click on it and turn it around... I want to send this kind of a file to a discord server where many people will be able to see it... even those with ZERO 3D knowledge... Kind of maybe like a 360 camera that you can look around in a video on YT...
  16. Well the way you already cut it is perfect... 😄 Can you send me this model? Cut like that?
  17. Tha way where I duplicate, mask and delete could be a problem because I can not mask a perfect mirror mask... I think.. not sue, but will explore that option, here is the model... https://www.dropbox.com/s/tx1kquyys0q9jdj/485-6-6_sword.stl?dl=0
  18. Hello 😄 First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 😄 If you can spare 3 minutes of your time please take a look at this video, in it I show and explain the problem I am having, maybe you can help me 😄 THX very much in advance 😄
  19. I did monitor it, it was showing about 40% usage... The scene is a few buildings very simple and they are animated to come down into the frame on a tracked footage... The whole thing was fine untill last night... I have no idea what is happening, even a simple scene with a cube will not render, but in Redshift I did a test and all is great... So I am guessed ng the GPU is good... I hope ...
  20. Hi 🙂 Ok so I have been using Arnold render engine for some time now and for some reason it started to give me a problem where it does not want to render out my scene with the GPU, and the CPU render is all white, can not see textures... Apparently it does not have enough memory, but that is stupid, the scene is not very big and something seems to be eating away the GPU memory... and it does the same with a scene that just has a cube with an Arnold material on it...Was working fine through the whole project when I was setting up the scene end texturing, did some test renders all came out fine... What could be causing this, the support team was not of much help and could not find a soulution after googling for hours... 😞 I need to finish this job ASAP... GPU-1080 8GB CPU m- i7 4790k.... IMAGES HERE! http://imgur.com/gallery/S4YmgCp
  21. Yes THX 😄 all the led light and the bels and whistles as you said are not interesting for me, My 1080 had the stock red light and I have those turned of 😄 OK the search continues 😄
  22. Well it is gonna be a difficult decision, gonna have to make some more research 😄 If you have the time and will I would love it if you put a list of just the main components that you think would be great for a new build. Use is 3D simulations, rendering, adobe programs, and an occasional game... LIke CPU Motherboard, this is all I would need to know for now, looking at NZXT motherboards also, and some Gigabyte
  23. Well I am leaning on the AMD side for this one, but to be honest it is a lot more expansive... I can get the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16 cores 3.4GHz for 106072.45 EUROS or I can get the I9-11900K 8 cores 3.5GHz for 782.41EUROS... Now, I know more cores is better, but if C4D is still a 1 Core program when it comes to simulations, this does not play into account. However renders would be much faster. But Intel can be overclocked to 5.3 and AMD to 4.9... I plan to use NZXT water-cooling, the one that comes out of the box prebuilt, with a 3 fan radiator...
  24. I have no idea, hoping someone will be able to answer this for me. And one more thing, is C4D still a single core program? Or did they rewrite the code so that it can benefit from more cores when doing simulations?
  25. I am kind of torn between AMD and Intel... As far as I kniw AMD does not have the stability as Intel... Any idea if that is true? For example a render that would last for days ia more likely to fail on an AMD... Could this be true? Also need to take the nto acount that I will be doing some simulations in C4R, like water and destruction...
