  1. I'm impressed to say the least IMASHINATION! Wow! I was playing around with the setup based on the info from CBR but didn't get it right. Thank you very much for your scene! I understand what you did. Sometimes things can be so easy. I looked at it and though "that is so simple!". I needed a sheet metal material wich I build myself. I now see that my material has too much reflectance. I will adjust the material settings. Thanks a lot guys for helping me out here! Means a lot!
  2. Hi @clarence, thanks a lot for your feedback! This might help! How would you handle the HDR? In a material of course. But then? Add to a sky object? Or a background? Or a physical sky? And how would you set up the 'Reflectance' channel exactly? Would you use the same material for background and floor and then compose with tag set to 'compositing background'? How do I get the highlighted centre? Photoshop is not really a solution in this workflow. I need to animate the scene, so I cannot adjust every frame manually in Photoshop. Lots of questions but as I said, I tried everything. Nothing gets me close to the Tomra-image. Thank for all the help!
  3. Hi, hope someone can help me with my scene. I do a lot of industrial animations. In a current project, I'm trying to setup a scene where a machine is placed in a dark environment with a somehow concreet floor with low reflection and high roughness. I came across a scene from a C4D showreel from a couple of years ago. Find attached a screenshot of a scene that shows exactly what I am looking for. I would like to get as close as possible with just the physical render. I tried everything I can think of. I'm a huge fan of the lighting kit pro form GSG. That already helps a lot but I still miss the floor an backround materials. Can somebody help?!! Please!
