  1. Wow, that's identical to the video I posted. I will definitely use this to make new branches. Thank you very much!
  2. After a long struggle and even using "PaintOnSurface2" plugin, I decided to make a branch with a hair object and cloner, used brush to add some variation and got this. https://i.imgur.com/eWTZazd.png After that, I baked that branch on the plane using substance designer to transfer normals, ao, diffuse and opacity. Ended up with this https://i.imgur.com/vIo0BVJ.png https://i.imgur.com/Af7BlRa.png I'm satisfied with the result. Thank you.
  3. Hi, just wanted to ask is there any similar way to make "pine branches" like on this video? Video starts at 16:55. I tried with hair but it's not exactly the same, and if I have 3 needles to paint, I want to paint them like this: Light green needle -> green needle -> dark green needle, like this guy does on the video. Is there any simple way in Cinema to do this? Thank you.
  4. I managed to do it with sweeps after all and UVs are automatically aligned perfectly so I think it's faster with sweeps.
  5. Hi, I'm having problems with creating a modular road. Curved road, to be exact. I can create curved road from a plane, using bevel, but then I have UV problems. If I create curved road with sweep, UVs are okay but then I have polygons issues. Can soneone help? Thanks!
  6. You can try Smooth mode in brush settings, I think it should not affect edges like that
  7. You can move with Pull as far as I know but not with smooth. On the pull settings, scroll to the bottom and choose direction Y.
  8. Go to Point mode, take Loop Selection - > check Select Boundary Loop (select outer points of the landscape) Then, press U-I to invert selection and sculpt without affecting outer edges/points.
  9. This is the plugin you're lookin for. Selection Suppletives
  10. I know of him. I almost switched to max because of him and his tutorials but I just can't stand max's interface. But yeah, max is the best for making game assets (highpoly to lowpoly) but I like Cinemas interface and I'll stick to it even if it's not made for making game assets.
  11. Ah, I'm so foolish :D I'll do it in Substance Painter. Thank you!
  12. Yes, looks great. Will use it in the future for sure. What about this? How to make this? Should I make a diamond-like mesh and clone it or what?
