Hi there,
Would you be so kind to tell me how do I get rid of these triangular N-gons after I bevel 2 edges of a primitive shape? I need a clean face left in order to play with it further down the road. Thank you for your help and I hope you have a great weekend.
Hi CBR,
Can you do it by having the Back Face unaltered, Object 2 on the right side in the picture above. I need it as a regular rectangle not trapezoid. Thank you for your help.
Hi,
I have 2 pieces that need to fit together. Object 1 has a 40 mm width with 15mm bevel with one face angled at 27 degrees. Object 2 has a width from 40 to 85 mm and a bevel needed that goes from 15 to 0mm because the rectangular Back Face is needed. I’ve made cuts on the side faces to stop the bevel from going all through, but it didn’t go well. How do I do this? Please advice. Thank you.
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to figure out how to use efficiently the measuring tool included. Here is a primitive shape with 9 segments on all axis (picture attached) 100x50x20mm, and I would like to create a point at 75.5mm. The measuring tool snaps at 66.66 at 77.77 and between these two segments at 72.22. Obviously I don’t know where is 75.5 point between them that’s why I was hoping the Measuring tool can help me. It won’t snap in any other point unless I set the shape from the outset with 100 segments which I don’t plan. What other tool could I use to find out where 75.5mm point is on that edge or what setup the Measuring tool should have for that? Thank you so much for your help.
Subscribed. I would like to watch a tutorial on how to efficiently add bevels on complex geometry in order to avoid traps down the road. A link attached would be helpful.
