  1. still doesn't work =(. Is there anyway I can do this with the x particles material editor? I don't want to remake all the materials in the normal editor. Sorry, I am not that skilled at this yet.
  2. I really have no idea what I am doing wrong. I can't get my textures to spin. I am using textures built in xp particles textures since I need those values for the illumination effect. It seems you made your textures with the material editor. Is that why my textures arent spinning?
  3. Ok I see what you did there but how would that work for spheres and making them rotate with a texture as above?
  4. one more thing to add, I have textures on the particles I am trying to spin. in the particle simulation I see the particles spinning, but not the texture, so I am basically trying to make the particle a 3d ball
  5. here are some grabs: I am basically trying to make the particles act like bouncing balls of light that have rotation and spin like in real life.
  6. Ok thanks for this, I set these parameters but it still seems to be spinning in the way I want it to spin. I think I am missing another step that I am aware of. Do i have to add a xpspin modifier?
  7. Sure here is the project file. https://we.tl/t-gWgOwgizFw So how would I make the particles rotate?
  8. Love the product but I am having an issue. My simulation shows the particles rotating but the actual render does not show any of the particles rotating. I have a texture on the particle and I want it to rotate with the simulation. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
  9. Hello everyone. I am new to these forums. I am an expert in after effects who recently got into Cinema 4D. I have a quick question. Anyone know how to achieve these effects video? I know the first one is After effects but the second one with the guys head on fire, how can I go about this? Do I need specific plugins for that effect? Do you have to track the footage in a separate program and then bring it in? If anyone knows how to get close or a better result, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
