  1. I'd also like to know the solution to this. Currently I am using IK dynamics, but the collision isn't ideal.
  2. If the rig is not scaled, the dynamics will set the pose like this: (this is what I want) However, if I scaled the parent null (I think that's the correct way to scale a rig), and then run the same IK Dynamics, the frame 0 is still the same, but on the frame 1 the joints will suddenly snap to a very different pose: If I scale it to 100, it will be even more obvious: Can someone give me guidance on why it happens? the joints are in correct position after I scaled them. It's only the dynamics that changed dramatically. This is very strange. Thank you in advance!
  3. Hi folks, Thanks for the help! It appears to be like what Cerbera said, the two halves of the face are not connected. If I optimize it, it breaks the Pose-morph(even when I optimize every pose. the point order is just messy). But If I use the Connect modifier as the parent, it welds the two side without breaking the pose-morph and it works fine. Thank you so much for the insight!
  4. As you can see here, there is a hard line splitting the character's face in two. It's less visible when rendering in Blender Cycles/eevee. Is there any way I can remove it?
  5. I made a simple cube animation in Oculus Quill, imported in Cinema 4D, and would like to stick a texture on it. But I cannot find a way to create UV map for this cube, thus I cannot use the UVW mapping(it gives me nothing, no checkerboard at all) I tried stick texture, it's not working. I set to spherical just to exaggerate the "slippery" texture. (Using the cubic projection looks fine despite the texture is not sticking on it.) Cinema 4D's native cube would have the UV build-in, but Quill's cube doesn't. But how do I slap a UV on it? cube_alembic.zip
  6. I made a simple animation, a number count from 0, 1, 2, 3, 4. Then I baked it into alembic, set it to loop: But I found out that only the first time it didn't skip the first frame (which is 0 here), then the loop will completely ignore the zero, looping only the 1, 2, 3, 4. How do I fix this looping bug?
