  1. Hi Everyone! Here are the final renders of my first serious project in C4D. I initially started this as an exercise in modeling, somehow it came to this. I myself am aware of some of the shortcomings in this scene, but I'd like to hear some honest peer critique. More pics in higher resolution can be found here: https://www.behance.net/gallery/99589199/F1-Race-Concept-Car-Project
  2. Thank you very much, this was very helpful! I will keep all of this in mind.
  3. Thank you for the clarification, this helps a lot. Is there a technique or tutorial you can recommend in order to avoid this?
  4. Hi Everyone, I'm still fairly new at this, hoping someone can help me here. When modeling, I notice that some of the polygons appear broken or split when rendered. I understand what it is caused by - all four vertices being on different positions in all three axis. I am not sure what this is called so I did not find help when I googled. Is there a workaround or a way to get rid of this? Or are there rendering settings I don't know about? This was rendered with the default rendering settings. Thank you in advance!
  5. Hi, I am still new at this, so please respect the potential silliness of this question. I am working on a model of an apartment building and I now need to add windows to the model. My plan was to inner extrude from the main face of the model, then adjust the shape and extrude the windows inwards. Now that I have inner extruded the shape, I want to make it more rectangular. If I scale with the scale tool, the whole selection scales. Therefore I am using the normal scale tool, but with that I can only scale the entire shape, whereas I need to scale justo on the Y axis. I've attached a screenshot of my work window and a picture of what I am going for. Please help me understand what I am doing wrong here.
