  1. Hey, This helps a lot! Thank you for spending time on this. Exactly what I was looking for! ❤️
  2. Hey guys, I am currently trying to invert the effect with RS freshnel and get some transparency on the edges for a complex object. The inside is transparent but I am trying to get the inside solid and the edges transparent. Inverting it would be great but the invert option on the ramp node doesn't work. Same with swapping the black and white points around. I was wondering if any of you have any ideas. Thanks!
  3. Thanks for the reply! Yeah I do agree on that. That cloner is actually working normally and it would change locations as the thing keeps changing shape. I was just trying to add some specks on a foam material, couple of shiny spots to make it look like the real thing but I guess i have to find another way. Thank you though.
  4. Hey all, So got a small problem here about animating a volume mesher. The voxel range threshold has animation and a rectangular is being formed out of a noise map and this has been turned into alembic so that clone object can recognize inside of it as well. There are spheres cloned on top of it in object mode, but everytime this gets animated, these spheres change location. Anyone got any idea how to make them stay put? Those little black dots in the video. Thanks a lot! 2021-02-22 13-40-16_1.mp4
  5. True, a real mesh will require millions of polygons. I should work in a better displacement map and make it better. Currently volume builder looks like the best solution. Still working on improving what I already have. Thank you so much for your help.
  6. Hey all, I am trying to find a way to create a foam material that I can animate its forming. I've tried many methods. Volume fog (here in the screenshots, works great when animating because I need to animate its forming with low clip in noise shader. As gaps closes down, it becomes a whole. But it's not sharp at all when you get even a little bit closer. Not to mention being super slow to work with. Also tried doing a mesh with typogen plugin and multiply it with cloners, octane scatters, different methods, didn't look dense enough. There are ways like volume mesher, some SSS effect and creating a procedural material but I can't create natural looking gaps on it to animate, and masking it with bunch of sphere fields and animating them didn't really work. I was wondering if anyone got any ideas, maybe a dense mesh that I can go out from inside as animation but would look like a foam when looking at the whole thing or being crushed with some cool plugin that could help like here; Thanks all in advance!
