  1. Ah frig, of course. Didn't occur to me to select all and then change the name in attributes. Then yes, with the naming tool it is easy to add a sequential number to each one. Thanks Zeden.
  2. Hey'O So for the life of me can't figure out how to rename a stack of objects in C4D. To be clear, I don't want to add a prefix or suffix: I'm talking about when you import something like an .FBX file and the object names can be all messed up and crazy long, I just want to select the stack of objects and rename them all to say Object-$N I've attached a pic to explain what I'm talking about. Thnx.
  3. Cheers Jed, Thats a pretty sweet Xpresso set up. Appreciate you sharing that.
  4. So far the only way I could figure out how to do what I wanted was to use a different Cloner, Plain Effector & Field for each slice. Pretty sure there is a more streamlined approach but gotta keep moving forward with this gig. Thnx for the reply Deck. Inheritance sounds like a good option which I hadn't thought of 😉
  5. Hey, I have multiple extrude objects that when all together on the same Y height make a solid rectangle. I would like to start them all at say Y 1000 and then one by one have each one move to a Y position of 0 When I put them into a cloner or fracture object and apply a Plain effector with a field, they all move at the same time together from Y 1000 to Y zero. For some reason I am unable to figure out, how to get them to move individually from the outside in. Ideally once I figure out the movement I would then like to add a decay & spring delay to each of them also. I have attached an image but also included a scene file. Thank you for taking the time to help. /BTR Rectangle-Slices.c4d
