  1. I tried using the same approach too. Tried to use a plain effector on visibility and scale sperately, but @Smolakis right, the gap between the tobacco and the filter is just too large. That sounds like it might work! Any idea where I can look the technique up? I'm quite puzzled as where to find a way to do it.
  2. Hi, I want to create a cigarette filled with tobacco. In order to create the tobacco, I chose to not choose a texture since that yields very unrealisticresults, especially on close-up shots. I decided to rather set up planes with a noise deformer and clone them inside of the cigarette's paper hull. I created a cylinder with the same radius as the paper on the inside. I then proceeded to create 5000 clones with the cloner's mode set to "Volume". Since the cloner distributes the clones according to their origin I get clones that protrude the paper. Is there a way to check for collisions and delete all clones that have points outside of the paper tube? I've also uploaded the scene: clones outside of polygons.c4d
