  1. Hello there ! I exported an alembic file from houdini, wich contains a temperature vertex map. I want to be able to blur it because it's too sharp (i'm using it in octane mix material) I searched everywhere on google and didn't find any workaround. This hacky method from Maxon doesnt work for Alembic 😕 Thanks 🙂
  2. Hey there ! On C4d there is a to do list feature in project property, where we can write tasks to do directly in the file. I searched everywhere how i could wirte some stuff in it, on c4d and on google, multiple times, but never found anything about it. Do you know how can i just write something here ? (see attachment) Thanks 🙂
  3. @HappyPolygonHey again 🙂 do you think he set his focal blur directly in C4d/octane or in after effect post production ? (for me difficult to know with the awful tiktok video compression)
  4. Hey boys ! I have an issue on C4D R25. When my animation play, it freezes for like 1 second at last frame before play back to first frame. How can i prevent this ? I don't think my specs are the problem as i have i9 12900k, 32go ram, rtx 3080ti. Thanks 🙃
  5. Thanks a lot for your answer guys 🙂 Okay so you think this boy don't use simulation to animate his videos. I will try to animate that with keyframe but some things looks really difficult to be done if not simulate. Imagine i want to animate the ball rolling on this kind of structure (see image attached below) how can i do to prevent the ball to be slightly collapsing in the structue model or being slightly floating above ? Without the collision system of simulation it seems so precise that it's almost impossible to do the right keyframes position 🤔
  6. Hello everyone ! Enbiggen is an artist doing some marble run videos using c4d and octane, those are very realistic. I attached an example. I tried to replicate this kind of animation, but i think maybe i'm not doing it the right way as it could be done faster and easier. The first method i tried was to create the terrain for a dynamic rigid body ball to bounce, and then adjust every step to synch the music. PROBLEM is ball's doing some new stuff everytime you launch the simulation, so a pure one time physic simulation is nearly impossible. I tried a second method wich consist of simulating some balls at a first part of the terrain, then i bake the simulation, then i convert to keyframe , then i do the second part and bake it keyframe it etc etc ... This process is very long as i have to calculate initial velocity of the ball beetween each part of the terrain for matching previous movements. Do you know any method that could get the job done nicely and as fast as possible ? Thanks 😉 mp4.mp4
