  1. I finally found the materials I need 🙂 The download link is under the description of the Tutorial in case someone else need it.
  2. @MJV Thank you for this tutorial. Unfortunately I dont have Houdini and I dont want to pay for it. It seems like it is overkill. A simple glow Effect would be enough, just like in the second image example. I guess this should be possible only with Cinema 4D.
  3. Ok to keep it more simple, something like this would be also ok 🙂
  4. I would like to create a texture or material which looks like the surface of the sun. Something like this:
  5. Hi Friends! Does anyone knows a good tutorial on how to make a realistic sun texture with the Cinema 4D Renderer or the Arnold Renderer? Alternatively a source where to find great sun textures would be also really helpful 🙂 Thanks for answers!
  6. Hi Friends! It sounds wired, but I am not sure how to save the images I rendered with Arnold inside of Cinema 4D. When I open the IPR Window then I have the option to take a screenshot (image 1) and send it to the picture viewer. However when I try to save the image then another popup opens (image 2). I click save and.. nothing happens! I already checked the render settings, but I am not sure what I am doing wrong... Can anyone help me please? Thanks for answers! Image 1 Image 2 EDIT: I am useing the demo version from Arnold Renderer. However yesterday it worked and I still have some days left to use the demo version. It is super wired and maybe I messed up something in the settings, but I dont know what.
  7. Haha jap that looks really good!! However I am not sure how to watch this .exr file. I can open it and watch it as an image, but I dont know how can I watch the image in a 3d environment. Is there any tool I can use to immediately watch it in a 3d environment? Maybe something like a HDRI explorer? Jap this rocks and it is exactly what I need. The only thing I worry is that I need to use it in a Three.js scene for the web. I need to massively compress this file in order to prevent performace issues, so hopefully it will be still performant because otherwise I can not use it.. Thanks a lot for all your help! 🙂
  8. Thank you for the links. These examples are not looking realistic in my opinion, I prefere the original NASA images. Yes I checked the NASA archive and I found this interesting link. However I am not sure what is an .exr file and how can I use it to create my own HDRI Map? Also I would like to ask you about how to prevent performance issues when I create a detailed HDRI Map for the web? I never made a HDRI Map before so I am happy for any advice I can get. I know that there are a few different methods and one way to convert a large image into a cubemap with this tool. NASA also offers 3D Models if anyone is interested in this, unfortunately there are no HDRI Maps.
  9. Hi Friends, can someone recommend a website where I can find realistic and good looking HDR Space textures from the universe? I would like to create a universe environment with parts of the milkyway, similar then this example. Unfortunately most of the HDR textures of the universe are not looking realistic, so I already thought to make my own HDR texture. If someone knows a good tutorial or has some advice on how to make a quality HDR texture with a small file size for the web, I would apprechiate your help! Thank a lot for answers! 🙂
  10. I finally figured out the issue. It was because I am working on a Mac M1Pro Computer, so I needed to start the application with Rosetta. Furthermore I needed to add full permissions to use the plugins from unknown developers. This took a long time to figure out so hopefully it can be useful for someone else with the same issues.
  11. Hi Core4D Community! This is my first post so I like to introduce myself with a few words. I worked with Cinema 4D R16 a few years ago and now I would like to jump into 3D rendering again. A lot of things changed with the newer version and I am exited to see whats possible now. My main focus is on learning the different render settings and work with Arnold Renderer 😍 I just installed Cinema 4D and I tried to use the Sketchfab Plugin so I read the documentation and created a Plugin folder inside the Documents folder on MAC OSX Monterrey. Then I opened the preferences > plugin option and connected the Plugin folder. I restarted Cinema 4D (a few times) and also my whole computer, but the plugins are not showing up under Extensions.. Furthermore I would like to use the Autodesk Arnold Renderer and also got issues with the installation. None of those plugins are showing up under Extensions and I dont have any idea why.. What did I do wrong? I followed every step on the documentation but still it is not working. Can anyone help please? Thank you for your support! 😄 EDIT: I just recognized that the issue probably occurse because I have a Mac M1Pro Computer?
