Solid chamfering will show obvious edges (coloring) in close shots. It suddenly occurred to me that this problem can be solved by only changing the position of the point. This is a new bevel chamfer plugin. But is anyone interested in that?
The C++ plugin is still under development. In development, I didn't find this useful because the current bevel chamfer modifiers are OK. You are welcome to discuss whether the current bevel chamfer modifier is necessary for further improvement.
