  1. S25s new layout is different, let’s say, sure I’ll get used to it but I c any seem to dock the redshift shader graph like I used to in previous versions. On a similar not I can’t figure out how to move the material window back to the bottom of the screen. Doesn’t make much sense to me to have it eating more screen real estate than it needs to at the side there.
  2. Got it. No idea how I managed to change that unintentionally. Must be a shortcut for it somewhere. Anyway, all fixed, much appreciated.
  3. Hey Cerbera. Thanks for taking the time to answer. I don't have anything selected in the viewport, that's what's confusing. I ahve attached screen shots of the view settings.
  4. I have managed to hit a shortcut somewhere that has made the viewport stuck showing object geometry in orange at all times which is really distracting. Does anyone know how to stop that? Screenshot attached.
  5. Just decided to have a go with the new node editor and was wondering if there are any keyboard shortcuts for it like for example, connect node to output?

  7. I am rendering in the render view and then sending that image to picture viewer as a point of reference, I am getting a weird difference I'm preview quality. Picture viewer is showing a much lower quality image than renderview is and also if I save the image out from picture viewer it remains low quality so it's not just a display issue. This is a new problem I have had since updating drivers and c4d and redshift today, Anyone seen this before? Image attached of the picture viewer next to the render view.
  8. Hey all. I want to turn off an xparticles pin that is controlling a cloth sim part way through the animation to release the cloth. Tried a few things but cant seem to get it to work. Any ideas?

  10. Hi guys. I have a dynamic spline which is driving the motion of a coiled wire via a spline wrap. All works as hoped but the spline that is being driven flips around at certain points. Any ideas on how to fix this? Scene attached. phone wire 001.c4d
  11. Hey all. I have set up a cloth sim and need to move to a higher frame rate, 30 to 60. This totally changes the way the simulation looks. Is there a good way to get the sim back to looking the same as it was?
  12. Yeah that's right, I'm interested in weighting the stiffness of spline dynamics, not joints. So one point at the end is totally rigid, the next couple are some what rigid etc etc until you reach a point where the spline flops around freely, something like how a cable would behave. I have found I can use multiple hair constraints to achieve this but its not the cleanest setup. In the hair constraint tag there is a slot here for influence map but I don't know how to make a map that will go in there. Vertex doesn't seem to work with splines.
  13. Hi all. I'm working with spline dynamics and want to have a kind of rigidity weight so that the spline is less floppy in some areas. Is that possible?
