So in this test, I made a grid of 1,000 hi-poly car models. Using R20's Multi-Instance setting, this thing rendered in 2 1/2 minutes. Full materials like glass, car paint, chrome, etc. Background image used for lighting the scene.

Concept for a new warehouse idea.

My very first good render using Corona.

    Snow Scene

From the album: Big Al's Cinema 4D and Corona Renderer

Created before Corona added the Skin Shader so there's no SSS going on here yet.

    Honda Pilot in Field

Just an attempt at an image for posting to social media. All but the sky is Corona.
  9. If that's the case with El Capitan or higher, then that is my problem as well. Thanks for posting.
  10. I have also had this error on my home Mac running Yosemite. Next time it pops up, I'll be more observant. Reinstalled, but didn't fix. If I hit OK on this window until it stops popping up, it appears to render fine. I'm fairly certain I got this at the office as well. I will keep an eye out and post back here.
  11. That is a tricky shape to model. I'll have to think about that. Hopefully, someone else can chime in.
  12. OK so this is an Epic Games survey concerning C4D workflow? I was confused when I read "MAXON Survey."
  13. Well, nobody is going to know what your goal is without some sort of image. I looked at your file, but I don't what it is supposed to look like and so can't advise you.
  14. No worries. To my American ear, that will sound the same.
  15. I remember doing your 3D Fluff tutorial on modeling a TV remote. It was awesome. Welcome. You had a cute German accent that was nice too.
  16. Nice. What was the complete pipeline? Zbrush, C4D for rigging, rendered with what engine? Animated in C4D too or exported to FBX for use in another app?
  17. Since you may be new to rigging, it's one of the most difficult things to learn in the 3D world in my opinion. Don't get discouraged, just keep at it and learn everything you can. You should have controllers in your hierarchy which are easy to find. Many people create easy to select splines (see below). Others the visual selector. Another tip is once you find the one you need often, drag it from the Object Manager right onto your viewport. You will now have a shortcut right on the screen. Very handy for many things. I posted a shot of a rigging video by the late, great Cactus Dan. See how he put a C for the chest controller, an S for the shoulder and an H for the hips? Easy to select. I don't remember how he connected them, maybe just a simple PSR Constraint. His videos live on here at the Café. They use his plugin, CDTools (based on a Maya workflow), but there is still a lot of good knowledge to be learned from his videos. They are very detailed so be prepared. Cactus Dan's Tutorials
  18. Looks like a model apt staged to sell, but the only tiny crit I'll throw out there since you're looking for realism, is the outside scenery. Unless you do some camera tricks or Photoshop, I would expect the outside much brighter, almost blown out. What render engine did you use? Your profile show R13.
