  1. If you want to animate only selected attributes with auto keying, click on corresponding letters of given attribute ie. XY for translation in only X and Y axis or H and B for those rotation only( letters get orange). Then right click and choose Animation->Add Keyframe Selection. You will get animation tracks only for those parameters.
  2. In most cases setting one of the axis to -2 will cause mirror flipping of a clone. To give it more randomized look you could use either formula effector with some id variables or simply shader effector or field that outputs only white or black values (1/0) for instance cell noise with high contrast..
  3. Hi, You could try to connect offset of the animated spline Wrap with Align To Spline position parameter of the leading ball. Obviously some extra offset for the leader is needed so, its not in the same position as cloth, tissue etc. Simple example AlignToWrap.c4d
  4. You can use Xpresso to wire channels of one material to other materials. Animating a master will be reflected in all those that are connected. transp.mp4
  5. For me it only worked with classic shift click while cloner was selected.. then obviously it has to be repositioned in the hierarchy but the size was corresponding to the size of the cloner.
  6. Revealing by simple gradient animation... can and frost ani-WG.c4d
  7. Right click on a point and choose the command from the context menu, according to what kind of problem occurs..
  8. Example with Camera Morph Tag. Two cameras travelling along the same path. One with Tangential Z orientation and second one constantly looking at the target. Transition made within Camera Morph tag. ttarget swap.c4d
  9. Are you referring to flickering fracture slices? If so.. checking Create Points Per Object in Sources tab should help.. vfracture.mp4
  10. Hi, I have been using C4D 21 and there is an option for saving Fusion project file. It must have been removed in newer versions. Non the less as Cerbera mentioned you can always look at a layer tab in C4D Picture Viewer and reconstruct the stack manually. Fusion has two tools (nodes) to generate blur effect based on a depth pass: Vari Blur and Depth Blur. The latter allows to pick the focus point. Fxphd has two or three good courses on Fusion: https://www.fxphd.com/details/537/ https://www.fxphd.com/details/475/ Hope thet helps.
  11. Example using Inheritance effector. To fill the empty space just add an extra layer of particles floating around with some forces. Dof you can be done in post video inheritance01.c4d

Hi Kbar. I wonder if that 0.8 version is still available for testing purposes? I couldn't find any link neither at jetfluids.com nor Plugins4d. Cheers
  13. I couldn't open your file.. but try Spline graph in Range mapper node maybe.. example clip
  14. Thank you kind masters for your flattering words 😃 I am no math guru by any means. I actually freak out every time I see line of code or formulae.. I was lucky to find that stuff just browsing Internet. 😀
  15. I was thinking about morph tag initially but Cerbera post gave me some idea of some sort of a rig using MoSplines.. cone wraping.c4d 30448411_conewraping.mp4
  16. Sorry I wasn't replying to you but I've been busy last week.. Moving home. Generally all those hints given by Jed should resolve your problems. In the scene you provided at the start, the sampling rectangle of sound effector didn't get any frequency of the soundtrack you used. And yes, sound effector requires some falloff to actually work.
  17. Instead of deforming geometry directly by Sound Effector, I would use some deformers and drive their strength by Sound Effector. Xpresso Sample node is great for that.. result
  18. Well, you can always plug the noise node to drive your pose. Then you can further animate any parameters of noise like amplitude or frequency.. example
  19. I used Structure manager only to easy track index number of the polygon I selected. It is not much of use as Cerbera mentioned already, because it outputs vertex normals not polygon normals. I'm not sure what you need those normals for but this is how you could get rotation of the polygon in relation to scene center..
  20. Xpresso polygon node can output normals for you, but they are vectors . You can go through all of them using Iteration or access any specific one by it's index number.
  21. aha.. I knew it is somewhere... Jurgen Meier This is an ancient site and is in German but he has crazy amount of mechanical examples there. Mostly formula based Xpresso. Just go to tutorials and XPresso Beispiele 3 Your case I believe is Kurbelschwinge ...whatever that means. Scene files are pre R12 so you need C4D version that can open them
  22. Hi, Apart from the fact that frame rate in your editor differs from that in render settings, after baking particle emitters and then caching dynamics it seems to bake fine. I don't have Arnold but renders in Standard , Hardware and Software renderers look exactly the same in terms of animation..
  23. Iteration through index number is not that complex either.. Here is an example where you can change the starting number if you don't want it to be zero..
  24. In Redshift i think it is Environment shader..but general rules would be similar to those mentioned above.
