  1. Hey everyone, does anyone have experience creating realistic eyebrows with the Cinema hair tool? What is the best way to approach this? It is really painful to distribute realistically in my experience. I watched a lot of tutorials but most of them were pretty old and general . As suggested in one I tried to use an image as a distribution map but this came out pretty unprecise. Unfortunately Ornatrix is not an option since it does not play well with Octane. Thanks, Dave
  2. Well, that helped, but only a bit 😅 The axis flips on the 50% mark. Already tried to restrict the rotation with a tag, but that didn't work.
  3. Loop.mp4 This video shows the problem I run into. For only a circle it would be easy to just scale the spline down but on a more complex track it gets more difficult. I think the cylinder would need to be offset exactly the radius of the cylinder from the spline whilst keeping the distance the same. Or so. I don't want to steal any more of your time though. You helped me plenty!
  4. That is great! Works like a charm! Thank you for taking time out of your day to help me. I am not sure that I can wrap my head around this equation completely yet but I definitely learned something new! EDIT: Just one minor question: Is there a way to offset the object axis from the spline so that it's rolling on the spline and not in the center of it?
  5. Thank you very much! I am trying to rebuild your setup right now. How do I get the further properties like "length" from the spline?
  6. Hey everyone, I am trying to animate a car doing a looping and found a useful tutorial for rigging the tires: This tutorial uses xpresso to take the Z-position but it only works on a plane. If the car leaves the Z plane to do a looping the tires start to behave strange because of the reversal of the z-axis. I made this professional sketch to further illustrate my point: Is there a solution for this problem with xpresso? I am not very experienced with using it so maybe someone has an idea?! Thanks in advance, Dave
