  1. Hi, hopefully someone can help with this! I used a cloner with a cylinder + random effectors and a linear field to create a sci-fi-looking cylindrical object with ridges that tapers in. These clones purposefully intersect each other to have a consistent outer edge as opposed to separate floating cylinders. When I apply a glass texture to the cloner, there is an issue with the refraction (Attached image 2), since there are all these internal faces that the light has to additionally refract through as opposed to just 2 sides (into the object and out of the object). I need a way to combine each of these cylinders together into a single object with no internal faces or internal intersections. Just the outer faces only. The closest I have gotten currently is using the Volume builder + mesher (Attached image 1), but it doesn't look great as the cylinders loose their curved edges, even on 1cm voxel size. Plus the polygon count is huge (10 mil+ polys) and its slowing down my scene massively. Neither using the adaptive mode on the volume mesher nor using a Remesh have helped this as the curved edges lose their shape. Hopefully someone could help with this and there's an easy way to achieve what I'm looking for, thanks!
