  1. Thank you so very much. Seems I may have resolved the matter by using version 10 which my boot sequence is required to be compatible with Redshift. Again, thank you for your kind words, you are the best!!!!! DDO
  2. Once again, I am humbled to ask for help ... but, HELP, please! I am using Windows 11, recent upgrade from Windows 10 -- that is when this camera issue first appeared. I am using Redshift _C4D) and the standard camera is showing a reverse perspective from my scene??? I have googled the issue with little luck for my level of understanding ... at this time, anyway. Can someone of greater knowledge/experience please, please, help this lowly plebe navigate to a solution. Any help would be most greatly welcomed. Thank you in advance for tolerating such a noob question!
  3. Thank you, ALL! This solved my issue and I am humbly grateful! DDO
  4. Greetings everyone! As a noob, I am stumbling around trying to find my way ... so far, not being very successful - at least I have not been kicked off the forum, not yet anyway. I am having trouble getting ASCII characters to be accepted by the C4D Text Editor. I thought holding Alt while entering the four digit code would insert the character, but it does not seem to be working for me. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would be most grateful. I apologize in advance for posing such a seemingly elementary issue, but for me it is significant. Please don't judge me to harshly. Thank you in advance for any assistance anyone can provide.
  5. Greetings everyone, I am Darrel and I'm currently on my journey learning C4D. I've been working through tutorials on Youtube, and have had good success in most of my projects. Below, is the current tutorial I am working on & encountering difficulties. I also have uploaded a video of my screen as I walk through the tutorial. On my video, at 1:08, will be the first instance of an "odd behavior" that I am perplexed by. As I try to use the Polygon Pen to cut up the Mesh, at times it will connect and cut from point to point, while other times (1:08 and more), it will try to continue drawing a polygon? I think? Here's where I am stuck, and I'm unsure how to proceed or troubleshoot it further. As my video continues on, you will see more instances of trying to cut the mesh apart and it trying to draw a polygon, as opposed to, cutting the mesh as the tutorial shows. I've tried various angles of where my object is oriented, to mixed results of cutting the mesh *or* continuing to draw the polygon. If anyone has a suggestion on how to solve this, or what could be going on, I would greatly appreciate some guidance or insight. My Video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1I0ccE2NlkjUQ6kro4Ca0eXB3pQz5kOIv/view?usp=sharing Youtube Tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a93N62t-8Vo&t I believe I have my profile version correct, but just incase, I am using Cinema 4D 2025.1.3. All of my graphics drivers etc are up to date. I'm using a 3DConnexion Space Mouse to navigate in C4D as well. I'll be actively monitoring this post for replies and requests for further information that might be relevant. Please bear with me everyone, as forums are a bit of a new thing to me. Apologies in advance for errors in formatting/etiquette.
