Hi Everyone!
I started to use Cinema's new asset browser. My asset pack is quite large, so it was loading very slowly until it appeared every time I started Cinema. Creating an index for the database according to the C4D website's recommendation helped, and if I add a new asset, I assume it's only updating the index. Tha database is located on a server, so all of my colleges can use the same asset library.
Question 1: From time to time, it seems that cinema forgets the indexing, and I have to wait for the loading again for minutes and create the index again. Why is that?
Question 2: Do you have to create your own index on every computer in the office, or does everybody use the same index file or whatever?
Does anyone know how the indexing works?
