I am on Win 10 PRO 64 bit too, Cinema 4D studio R17 and R18, tried with no plugins at all except for SurfaceSpread, without the Prefernces folder, without my default new.c4d scene, on both releases and on 3 different PC (2 DELLs and 1 HP with fresh instlalls done only for testing SS)... no luck at all... The plugin works perfectly on my iMAC with a 1000x1000 segments terrain but becomes unresponsive at 500x250 on the various Win 10 machines I've used for testing and the main one where I have Cinema 4D installed onto. Any idea of what may be causing my issue? Thanks in any case for your answer Icecaveman!

Thanks! I was starting to believe that it was only happening to me... can you please send an email to Laubwerks to tell them you have this issue so that maybe they solve it? My email alone didn't produce any result... In any case, thanks for your time!

Thanks both of your for the answers! Yes, I have updated to the last 1.0.45 version and the issue is there for me in both R17 and R18 on the windows side only. Good to know they are working on an 2.0 version: I hope that version will fix my problems :-) Thanks again!

Hi everyone, I am a Surface Spread user since the release of the plugin in 2009 and I am having a very bad issue with it, in particular with SpreadScape object: on my windows machine when I create a 500x500 segments terrain I get an unresponsive Cinema 4D (R17 and R18 studio) for about 40 seconds (worst if the segment count is bigger). This does not happen on my MAC. Anyone can check and see if this happens on his Windows machine too? I have contacted the new developer (Laubwerks) but after describing the issue and sending them a simple test scene I did not get any answer nor solution. Also in the plugin help page there's a mention to a SplineSpread object whcih I don't find in my installations (MAC and Windows). So if anyone can help finding a solution it would be really great :-) Thanks in advance for your time and help!
