Rigid Body Cloner with intersections 'Collapse' effect
The issue is that your cloned object has its axis in center. Convert the cylinder to polygon object and move the axis at base. This will prevent them "exploding" since the will not intersect at start of simulation. -

Rigid Body Cloner with intersections 'Collapse' effect
I'm trying to make a bunch of intersecting clones (rigid bodies) collapse from their cloned form (a sphere) onto a floor. As they are intersecting in their initial state when they become dynamic they explode outwards. Can anyone suggest a method of making them simply fall to the floor when the rigid body tag is enabled? I've spent a lot of time playing with damping and follow position / rotation values, along side increased gravity forces but am struggling to get the 'collapse' effect required. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/5z3c0xm0tggb6dhbyeq79/COLLAPSE_TEST.c4d?rlkey=kwgqd8qoxz112xmevdeaq0ge5&dl=0 -

Houdini spreads eye-gasms again with Release 21
We've all been there. Teased by reels like that you try to learn Houdini just to find yourself in an overly complex madness. But it's a powerhouse for sure if you know it. I prefer C4D's approach to things more. You get there 5x faster in 90% of cases. But the last 10% of Houdini you never reach ;) -

Using Mograph Selection in Redshift?
Hi, Is there a way to use the mograph selection as a masking for which color is which? I can drag the mograph selection tag in the xpresso it reads as object so I can't directly plug it in the redshift nodes. I'm using R21. And the last perpetual version of redshift. -

Cinema 4D & AI
If the VFX sub on Reddit is anything to go by, some dudes entire 5 person concept art team got replaced with a midjourney subscription lol, I really don’t think it’s too far into the future that certain roles start going in that direction .
