Peg's Mansion Revisted
Since I am reworking my old project from so many years ago… I thought I would show peeps here the rework on the tower roof of peg's mansion so that you can compare the old one with the new one - I like to think it is an improvement… Whilst I am at it perhaps someone might tell me how I might add a dirt map to the tiles collectively since each of the roof tiles is an individual tile but cloned which took quite a while to create but looks so much better. -

Smear effect with Scene nodes or XPresso
Hi everyone, I'm currently trying to recreate a smear effect in Cinema 4D, similar to the traditional animation smear effects seen in Blender or the old CA Motion Stretch Deformer plugin for C4D. I've been experimenting with both Xpresso and Scene Nodes to build this effect cause i know its hard to make it like a deformer with pyhton, However, I haven't been able to get it working — even after trying with ChatGPT and doing lots of tests, it still doesn't work because i dont have all the knowledge. if anyone could help me please. In a similar setup, I'd really appreciate any help — and if it's something time-intensive, I'm open to discussing it as a paid. -

Okay I've been working on this project forever and im about run out of time. the fantastic four movie came out and I was making an animation of the surfer surfing through space I was wondering someone could help me make this female surfer's hair flow and move with the speed turbulence of the animated movement (direction of surf), I want it to either look like its trailing behind like a comet or flames or just the polgon shifting itself. Let me know if the can get fixed. Right now I tried getting the hairline to stay conjoined to the head so that itll stay attached but the cloth-like hair will trail behind but what it did instead was leave the hair behind entirley and start stretching the hairline all the way throughout the animatioin without stopping. ill link the file. I use Cinema 4D R18. I know it's old so some things might not transfer over. Untitled 2.c4d -

Offset Fragments in Voronoi Fracture
@MJV - I attempted to make this work by creating two versions w/ different offset amounts and using the Morph deformer to blend via field strength. Unfortunately because the gaps are created by booleans, even very slight differences in offset strength result in different point counts/orders; which means a morph won't work. I also attempted to generate a varying voronoi pattern based on the Voronoi Noise and piping the rendered result through a Vectorizer - which didn't give me much. All this to say... I wish you the best of luck, this is a stumper.
