  1. Japan is already in 2025 Severe conections ala Blender MoDependence Inpector - That'll make easier to figure out what's going on with Field and Effector references... Actually that's a better visualization for any kind of object references. https://kengoito1110.gumroad.com/

  2. Hello Everyone! Do you want to animate characters? But hate rigging? I'd like to present Ace5 Studio's various characters. https://shop.ace5studios.com/ Just recently released Melissa, but i don't think i posted my other recent packs here either, so enjoy. You can use MELISSA25 to get 25% off Melissa 🙂 Cheers, Aleksey

  4. Just because one character rig runs fine, doesnt mean another will. Its down to what calculations are being done on each rig and polygon counts. Though I will say, we currently use R26 at work because it does everything we want and none of the intermediate versions have added anything worth upgrading for (for us). We will be updating to the next release.

  5. I don't get it. The "Before" screen capture shows Cinema 4D struggling to display a single animated character. The "After" capture shows a normal behaviour, what I can already get from Cinema 4D's viewport. When I look at the same character in this video - https://www.instagram.com/p/CtgPlP6v-ti/?img_index=1 - I don't see any issue with this character: the rig is extremely responsive, the FPS is above 50. So what is the problem with the "Before" state in McGavran's twitter? Why is the FPS so low? I need more information...

  6. It's only scanned models animated with Mixamo (I recognized the mocap directly) and duplicated with a cloning/particle system. There's nothing really "procedural" about it. It can be done manually in Cinema 4D, for free and relatively fast. The easiest way: 1. Create your characters and looped animation in Mixamo (https://www.mixamo.com/). 2. Export them in Fbx. 3. Load the files in Cinema 4D, adjust the textures, make variations (colors, scale, speed, ....). 4. Clone these characters with Mograph or Xparticles. You could also use the characters in Cinema 4D's asset browser (Models > Humans > 3D people), load and animate them in Mixamo.
