  1. I have a voronoi fracture object that is being hit with a collider object. I baked it and have it looking how I want, but I'm noticing there are a few frames throughout the animation where pieces of the voronoi fracture snap back into their original position a frame after being hit. They only snap back for one frame before animating again. What could be causing this?
  2. I'm trying to have a small object pass through a group of columns, breaking the columns apart, using the rigid body tag and a vornoi object. The problem is the entire columns explode upon impact, when what I want is the destruction to be more localized to the point of impact, like a bullet passing through. Are there any settings in the rigid body tag that'd lower the sensitivity of the pieces, or any other way to achieve not having the entire columns explode? Ideally, the smaller pieces would break easier than the larger ones. Thanks for any help! c4dcafe help.c4d
  3. Hi, I have a ball that is traveling across a corkscrew loop that is being deformed by a Twist deformer. I want my camera to remain behind the ball the whole time, following its position and rotation, but when I parent the camera to the ball, it only follows the untwisted path of the ball. I've tried using a constraint tag and followed this tutorial but can't get it to work. Any help is appreciated! Camera parent problem.c4d
  4. Hi and thanks for the help! Maybe I'm not using the right term, but I'm trying to achieve symmetry like in this tutorial at 8:00. He's painting both sides of the penguin with symmetry along the Y axis.
  5. It's been a while since I've used Bodypaint. How do I turn on brush symmetry?
  6. Hi, I am having problems getting an Attractor to work with a Voronoi Fracture object. I've followed this tutorial and can't figure out what I'm missing. The Attractor doesn't affect it at all. Any help would be appreciated! Tower.zip
  7. Yeah, it's just one object. I tried putting it in a connect and still no change. I just found a similar thread saying to reinstall my graphics card drivers, which I did, and it's still unusably slow. I don't know if this is at all telling, but my sculpt never displays an orange outline when it's selected in Object Mode. It does on my work computer. Well, this workaround worked for me: Copy/pasted sculpt into new project and the problem's gone
  8. I have a sculpt that is 3.8 million polys, it's a level 6, and is taking up 780 MB of memory. My computer has 64 gigs of memory, a fast processor and graphics card, and yet the viewport moves incredibly slow, like less than 1 fps. I tried this same project out on a computer at work that's running r14 and has worse specs and it has no problem moving around in the viewport. I've turned off Open GL and upped the sculpting memory to 4 gigs and still no difference. It does get better when I lower the sculpt level though. Rendering is quick though, what I'd expect from my card. Any ideas?
