  1. ok so I have the image attached which as you can see has lots of different colours on a plane. I added the colours manually 1 by 1 once the plane was editable and wondered if there was a quicker way to add multiple colours to different faces of of an object? It does not have to be a plane but say for example a platonic object, how do you have each triangular part a different colour to the next one?
  2. wow thanks so much, your a star. Do you have a link for this video please so I can download it rather than watch in the browser. Really appreciate your time, it really helps having people like you in this world.
  3. that would be much appreciated if you can supply a short video showing the easiest way to keep the same look of the skull but adding the dot indents. thanks again for your help its hugely appreciated.
  4. I have added the scene file here, no lights have been added but hopefully this helps. What I want is an even distribution of the grid of dots sunken into the skull. I hope you can help. thanks again SDS test.zip
  5. thanks for this, however the object is really low poly see attached. Any further ideas? thanks
  6. Hi, I have a very low poly object that I want to apply sub poly displacement to but I am struggling to get it to work due to it being low poly. Is there a certain way to apply SPD to low poly objects? I hope someone can help. Many Thanks, Ben
  7. I suppose the look I am after is the attached before I drop the volume builder into the Volume Mesher. This kind of 8 bit / pixel looking art, any idea anyone?
  8. I am trying to create a nike tick Similar to the sketch attached, so ideally looking like its one piece with extruded faces rather than lots of cubes making the tick. I have R20 and the volume builder but I can't seem to figure it out? Please can someone help me as I am pulling my hair out trying to work out what should be very simple to someone who knows what they are doing. I have also attached a nike tick in C4D if this helps. thanks nike tick.c4d
  9. Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to project graphics like you see around 4 seconds into this animation onto cubes at different depths like in the video? I essentially want one logo projected onto lots of cubes at different depths in the scene. Any links to tutorials or help here would be much appreciated.
  10. if I get R20 do you know of any tutorials for volume builder? thanks again
  11. Hi, I am trying to create a Minecraft / lego style Nike Tick similar to the image attached. Rather than have lots of cubes I would prefer it to look like it is moulded from one block. I know I can manually extrude the shapes but is there a more experimental way I can play around with to try different options. I hope someone can help please. Happy to use plugins. thanks
  12. Hi. This may be really simple to some people but I can't recall how to do this. I want to project a logo onto a clone of cubes, very similar to the first frame you see on the below animation. Does anyone have any links to tutorials that show how to do this please? Besides the logo projected onto the cubes I also want it to spin in a similar way so the logo reveals at the end as the cubes spin into position. Thanks
  13. hi. I am working on a personal project that requires a good quality scene of either London or New York buildings that I can use for close up shots. The attached shows the type of building and shot I am looking for. Does anyone have a model they would be willing to share please? thanks
  14. your a star, thanks so much for this it really helps a lot : )
  15. the camera would be very close to the text / materials so it would need to be more detailed than a bump map. I have seen the basketball in the content browser but it doesn't have a great texture on it to be honest.
