  1. Haha - that Gif is hilarious. Thank you both!🙏
  2. Thanks Clarence. You're in luck then - I'm having a Danish mid-century life crisis 🤪 Hans Wegner: Wishbone Chair (1949)
  3. HI, You can go to FILE>Save Project with Assets and it will save a cinema file and collect all the assets from your hard drive and put them in a tex folder right next to your cinema file. You can send this to the client if they want it as a native Cinema4d file. You could also export the model as .OBJ or .FBX which are pretty normal formats for exchange, but then you will have to send the jpegs separately. If you are sending the Cinema4d file - they will need Octane to render it just as you have. e.
  4. I know, I know. This is about lighting.....
  5. Is this model available somewhere? Can't seem to find it.
  6. End result of a training session on HDRIs. Model by Rust Shake. Textured by me. Corona renderer.
  7. Amazing as always. Feel like your render quality has gone up too. Looking very nice!
  8. Render Weekly (on Instagram) design challenge: Design and Render a desktop microphone. The whites feel a bit over exposed and the darks are a bit too gloomy, but out of time and moving on 🙂
  9. yeah yeah - take your physics and reality somewhere else, pal 🙂
  10. Next up - 1978 Datsun 280z. Just trying to practice as much as I can as I go back and forth between design and modeling.
  11. 1970 Camaro Pro Touring. My first attempt at modifying a car - which I have no business doing, as I know nothing about cars. Obviously inspired by the work of Carlos Pecino and Ash Thorp. There are some glaring holes and problem areas, but a fun thing to try out. Started out as a texturing demo and then I just start modeling things.
  12. Yes! I'm crying tears of joy over here. Looks great!
  13. Nice free character rig up on The Pixel Lab. Fun to play with and work on posing.
  14. Render Weekly Week 5 Challenge. I went with Salt & Pepper shakers. Here's the prompt: Design and render an object where the main form gesture is a combination (addition, not subtraction) of 2 primitive forms. Part lines, detailing fillets and rounds, and functional details are allowed.
  15. Also a few more with the PINGO vfx lighting kit from last week.
  16. Moody samples on a test scene I made for workflow from Vectorworks to Twinmotion. Still testing that, but here's some quickies' from Cinema. Based on the work of Edward Gordon Craig.
  17. Well, I think it's the best and easiest. I use the default settings 99.9 percent of the time. After investing in multiple GPUs, I was worried about staying with CPU rendering but given the GPU landscape right now, I'm glad I did. I went from 10 cores to 32 cores about a year ago and that sealed the deal for me. Check out the trial.
  18. I found these sweet HDR studio lights and bought the set after playing with the free demo. Really nice stuff. Here's some tests with them. Just the tip of the iceberg on playing with these.
