  1. that's another weird thing, it snaps to the front! but you both gave me good pointers and I'm going to try them right now, will let you know how it goes!
  2. Most of the time I have autosnapping and polygon snap, but when I get the error I try using other settings, but no result. this time I was snapping on a simple mesh (it was inside a symmetry modifier, tho), but sometimes it happens on a subdivided mesh too.
  3. This is a problem I have occasionally since I've been using snapping, but I'm using it a lot lately, so I get it way too often: no matter if I am using the moving tool or the polygon tool, there's a point when the snapping decides to snap far from the target model, as in the picture: the selected point is far from the surface it's supposed to attach to, and no matter what I do, I cannot make it connect to it unless I turn off snapping. once it happens it just keeps doing it.
  4. I joined in 2013, but I've lurked since 2005, I think. jesus, that's a long time ago!!!!!
