Well i have given the best info i have. get an older chip titan X and /or a dual CPU Xeon. All the info is above

So the two Xeons and the dual-socket motherboard came to a total of just $420, significantly less than the asking price of a hexa-core 5930K.

jascha is the one for time frames but often hard to get hold off. If you look at my links i think you will come to the conclusion that a seperate super for a decent price can be had buy using older xeons on multi cpu boards and then throwing in a Titan or 2 i am sure we will get multi gpu support soon. Old servers are easy to get hold of in the UK..good dual Cpu and even quad CPU boards running anything up to 20 core Cpus' a re available..the later not so second hand but certainty 8 core xeons can be had cheap. I will dig out an article but also check for your local server suppliers..ex leased kit etc and of course ebay. A 48 threaded beast for less tha the kit i am running is possible Bloody hell that was hard to type..and my boy is asking the difference between a lawyer and a barrister..this has me salivating as he is planning on physics or engineering...A QC over here would not get out of bed for what they earn in a year

let me check up on them. Best bet is the Nvidia Titan X with the older chip at the moment
