Duh!! Taken me 2 weeks to figure out my desktop mounted microphone is picking up vibrations from the computer fans creating background noise. Lift it up, no more background noise. So simple!!
Plus after listening to things now I can hear the clock ticking in the background. That's now in the rubbish bin. I'll have to get a non clicking clock in my office.
