    I've drawn Portugal in my company's World Cup sweepstake. Are they any good? Football is not something many Kiwi's follow. It's rugby down here :)

      Well they lost their first match 4-0, and needed a play-off to qualify in the first place so they're outsiders. The FIFA world ranking system is deeply flawed. The Netherlands, last time's beaten finalists who got up to a flyer this year are down in 15th while Switzerland massive outsiders are 6th.

      If they Beat the US, then they could at least have some sort of chance. But if they Tie the US then they will be done. They are like France is in Rugby. Capable of winning, but often falling short.

      Do you follow league or union more? If union which is your team? Even though I'm in the US I've been a Chiefs fan for a while now.
