    Lego 42007

Yes. Check out my Lego gallery here. Apart from the motorbikes it's all done in C4D.

Hours and hours of work. Bit of trial and error in some places until I was happy with the result. Usually plenty of N-Gons.

    Lego V-Twin 8422

Both. The only things better in C4D are the Bevel tool and non destructive modelling i.e. splines with the likes of Extrude, Sweep etc.

I'd love to know whether Modo is easier or just more intuitive than Cinema when modelling. Both. The only things better in C4D are the Bevel tool and non destructive modelling i.e. splines with the likes of Extrude

Yeah all possible in C4D. This one was 25% approximately modelled with C4D. I then exported the parts to Modo.

    From the album: Lego

Modelled in Modo and Cinema 4D. About 25% Cinema. Textured and rendered in Modo.

This is a combination of parts modelled in Cinema 4D and Modo. My guess is around 40% C4D. The wheels, shock absorbers, bricks and a few other parts are Modo. The engine parts (it's fully animated as well) are all C4D from my previous Lego projects. The tyre tread is done with Sub polygon displacement in Modo. The stickers and tyre displacement map were made by me using Serif Draw Plus, a cheap vector drawing program. Assembled and rendered in Modo 901.

I'm still tweaking the materials, lighting and render settings but it's near enough finished to post.
