Hi, is it possible to reset an objects internal scale to 1 without affecting its size?
For example: I got an object with scale 3 and size 400. I want scale to go 1 and size remains 400 therefore, affecting only objects internal scale. I am used from 3dsmax where this process is called ResetXform.
Thanks a lot0 -

Hello, guys! This is my first project in c4d. I try to transition from 3ds max to c4d. Its not commercial therefore we had time to experiment with various stuff and techniques.
We did this at YELL (www.yellimages.com) where i am participating as a 3d generalist/motion designer.
My role on the specific project was 3d animation/shading/lighting/texturing/simulations. We used Octane renderer, TFD for the smokes/dust, Realflow for c4d for the liquid. Clouds in the back were done in Houdini and imported as VDB sequences.
I d love ur feedback.
Cheers and happy new year.

I cant change something in alembic in c4d. It has the regular spline options like akima, linear etc but none of em does the trick unfortunately :(

Hi, i cant export splines from 3ds max to c4d. The only format i found that is working is alembic. But splines come different in c4d. For example some points that are sharp come smooth, others come different shaped than 3ds max etc etc.
Anyone has a solution for this? thanks0

Is there an automated way, maybe a script for that? Cause when i get a model with some hundred of parts, i cant do it per object its gonna take a lot of time. ty
