  1. I am on windows, but I think I have ownership of the folder....all contents are not read only
  2. so I moved the library to an external HDD to safe space, I loaded them back to cinema 4D again but the problem is that they are all in the read only state and I can't change that (right click>read only is grayed out)....how to unlock them to save new materials in the future?
  3. Hello there, My personal materials library is eating my SSD drive, so I am thinking of moving it to another HDD partition to save up more space... the library is located in C:\users\(my user name)\AppData\Roaming\MAXON\Cinema 4D R19\library\browser\user.lib4d if I moved it to another location, how to relocate it again in the program? will it displays with thumbnail preview as always?
  4. https://we.tl/t-WL2aP2KD25 this is my file if you want to check it
  5. I am using redshift 2.5.46 and I don't know how to use AOV passes
  6. Using redshift render in cinema 4d r19: why there are so noises here?! this is driving me crazy...I tried to increase all samples and passes and no matter what, no change....just noisyyyyy! there are 4 area lights each is assigned to the letters mesh, and there is environment for volume scattering (glowing around the lights) now I need a clean & clear render with minimum time! Help me please!
  7. I figured it out, there are some animation keys - i think it's something new in mixamo that they now rig the character with some animation to remove them, I choose the layout animation and then removed the keys (the boxes in attached pic in the timeline)
  8. I really need help here because I have been trying all night and something is wrong, my character here i am trying to rig to ride a snowmobile as follows, it is a fuse/mixamo character i made, now whenever i rig it to the pose and press ctrl z/undo, it resets back to the t-pose...even when i save it when i reopen the file it is in t-pose....it's not the first time for me to rig...it's the first time to me this behavior happens...is it a bug?! help please! I can't restart every once and then!
  9. simple question, I have a character with a skeleton and I rigged a pose at its right arm, now to safe time, how to mirror this pose to the left arm without having to do this manually?
  10. this character I created with fuse and only wanted to adjust the top with little detail, now when I assign skin and riggin tag, everything is messed up....the original object I hided it and it is riggin fine, I only want to modify the object "Tops.1"... Help Please! Here is the link to the file: https://www.mediafire.com/file/dsangu6py7p939s/FuseModel222222222222.fbx/file
  11. ok, I think I found a solution, select the skeleton of the original character, go to character>commands>copy chain then go to the character you want to copy the pose to, select it's skeleton, go to character>commands>map chain it's really simple :D
  12. How to copy a rigged pose from one character to another? I have these model series and I rigged them, now I have another rigged model that I want to copy the exact same poses to it! i.e four moves of the same character doing the same action, from crutch, throwing crutches, walking to running there are many characters I want to add doing the same action (it's a still visual, not animation)
  13. Hi there, Just asking for recommendations for tutorials of how to model a car from a blueprint! a descriptive one for a beginner like me :) thanks
  14. lol, I thought it was a hardware problem! :D it turns out I didn't have any dynamics and it was rendering the frame 190....not the one I am working on :D
  15. Thanks Rectro/Dan, it turns out that some how - may be I messed it unwillingly before - the render was set on frame 190..I set it to the initial frame 0 and voilà... the second thing that I hadn't set any hair collider tag on the solid objects (I didn't know this feature at all :D ) thanks for the playlist of the hair system you provided before, it pretty much helped me....I was scattered through random videos that made me lost little bit before it! after 17 hours working and studying with the hair system (and redrawing the style many times) , this is my result so far on my model with the simplest render settings just for preview...still have to work on skin shading and eyebrows/lashes and set the final scene light and cameras...but the hair phase...I am satisfied with it! :)
  16. I also would like to know if there a way to prevent hair intersection with other objects, for my model hair is intersected through her neck, her skin and I don't know how to control the dynamics here or do I have to draw it manually!
  17. Ok, I am still a beginner actually and I have been only working for 3 weeks from tutorials for the study purpose and I am doing good so far, now when it comes to hair, real problems comes! in brief, I am still in modeling phase and the hair shape is not finalized at all...on the render viewer (preview render when I render certain region or pressing ctrl + R) the visual comes normal and correspondent to what I design (combing hair, placing guides, etc...) now on picture viewer as a final render just for test....it is hilariously different! attached is a photo briefly together with render settings. I am really desperate and in middle of no where! what could be wrong here....HELP!
