Cinema 4D Attach Soft Body as if with Belt tag

Hey Guys, I was guided here from a super old post saying to look back in the archives on this section, but I went way back and didnt see anything. I have been experimenting with the cloth tag and attaching it with the cloth belt tag, but the result I am looking for isnt working out so I wanted to try soft bodies instead since I have a better understanding of that tag. However, I cant seem to find how to "pin" or attach the soft body object like I would usually just do with the belt tag. I have seen a couple old suggestions but they seem clunky and like too much work. Any ideas? Thanks!
