  1. hello! Newbie importing to unity and have been able to successfully get the .fbx of my model over but not the textures. When I'm baking the object it seems to only be creating an image of the torus texture which is the last object in the null and I'm wondering if it's to do with the ordering of the objects. I'm not able to connect and delete all because I want to include the animation in the .fbx and converting to polygon deletes this. Attached workflow and result of baking.
  2. Hi- Attempting to animate/ rig a character for the first time and using FBX data from a face cap app. Have been using the pose morph tag on my model to create the same series of blendshapes, this needs to be in the same exact order as the data so i can copy and paste values. For the Jaw realised I would need to move using joint tool. However nothing happening when I move sliders after trying to animate the JawOpen pose by rotating joint. I'm not sure if Xpresso need to be used? Or if I need to put a pose morph tag on the lower jaw joint, but not sure how I could then paste the FBX data if there is multiple pose morph tags? Attached the file for reference. Any help much appreciated! J
  3. got it. ambient occlusion it was !! probably should have checked that. thanks again
  4. Thanks for your response! I did figure that it might be the easiest way however even after unchecking cast shadows in the compositing tag and checking and unchecking other options the dark area is still there. I was wondering if there is some other way to turn off the gap inbetween object and bounding box but couldn't find a way to do this.
  5. Hi! I'm a very new user of C4D and last time I posted on here got some great help so back again to see if anyone has any ideas for this project I'm working on. I have layered two planes on top of one another - below is an animated water layer and on top is another plane object. I wanted to give the look of the above layer being flooded however when I go to render there is a dark area between the object on top and its bounding box and I have no idea why this is or how to get rid of this. Any help would be very much appreciated!
  6. Hi, Very new to C4D and this website, however hoping to find a solution to this problem. I have created moving metaballs from spheres and am looking to have another layer over the top to look as if they are partly dipped in gold (using a different material) and not sure of the best way to achieve this. I want the gold to be the same size/ shape as each metaball and animated at the same speed (just layered over the top). If anyone has any ideas it would be very much appreciated !
