Hi all, first time posting on the forum. I hope this question is in the right place.
I'm trying to use Collision Deformer with high poly models. It's basically freezing up Cinema 4d. Is there a workaround?
Maybe it's irrelevant but I've noticed people using proxy models for soft body dynamics. See example in youtube video below.

When you turn on the Collision Deformer elements, things begin to get very slow!
I'm curious if there is a work around or if I simply need to reduce the polygons in my models, in order for the Collision Deformer to work more smoothly.
Thanks for any help in advance. I hope I'm being clear for what I'm trying to do. I'm also pretty new to C4D which doesn't help.
