  1. Use "initial state"
  2. I'm making a waterfall in a RealFlow simulation and I want offset the RealFlow animation on the C4D timeline so that the water already has a steady flow/stream on the first frame of the timeline. Does anyone know how I can do this? Thank you
  3. Hi Dan, I am hesitant to reduce the polygon count as I'm starting to see bumps in the model rendering. Any other work arounds that you can think of? Thanks for your help.
  4. I added a new file: https://wetransfer.com/downloads/052e61d84540d2fbcc430b958125925420200419224328/25c616081842c5f17e4074fc990c1cda20200419224505/8d7ef3 In this scene I'm trying to get the torus to affect the high poly shape (using Collision Deformer) and I have made a cage for the high poly object. Am I doing something wrong? The torus isn't having an affect on the high poly object when it intersects in the animation. Is there something I am missing? Thanks in advance.
  5. Hi Dan, yes I want to keep the meshes as two parts, as I'm purposely colliding them into each other in the animation. Thanks for your feedback.
  6. Hi all, first time posting on the forum. I hope this question is in the right place. I'm trying to use Collision Deformer with high poly models. It's basically freezing up Cinema 4d. Is there a workaround? Maybe it's irrelevant but I've noticed people using proxy models for soft body dynamics. See example in youtube video below. Link to my C4D file below: https://wetransfer.com/downloads/d85922b2faf53a1f4ef7acbd3fc4742020200419084404/f8694c3b8d50b81daa4d9b85ecf7606420200419084424/54ba46 When you turn on the Collision Deformer elements, things begin to get very slow! I'm curious if there is a work around or if I simply need to reduce the polygons in my models, in order for the Collision Deformer to work more smoothly. Thanks for any help in advance. I hope I'm being clear for what I'm trying to do. I'm also pretty new to C4D which doesn't help.
