  1. So I went into the Nvidia control panel and switched the preference to performance. Once I restarted C4D, that seemed to work and now it is using the Nvidia card. Thanks for your help guys!
  2. Ok so I noticed only the Nvidia card is listed under CUDA devices, yet the OpenGL still lists the Intel card as the Renderer. I am looking through the Nvidia Control Panel to see what setting I might need to change in order to use the correct card. Which setting should I be looking for?
  3. Good Afternoon, I recently upgraded my pc and acquired Redshift for C4D R20. I am brand new to using GPU rendering and I am trying to optimize everything. I have 2 questions. 1. When I render an image sequence using the queue, I noticed that my GPU isn't being used very much at all during the render. When I am viewing the task manager, the CPU seems to be the most active around 90% while the GPU is at about 1%. Now I didn't notice much of a difference in render time compared to how quickly a frame is rendered using the Redshift Renderview, but I want to make sure I am doing this correctly. I have everything set up in the Render settings to use Redshift and I am using Redshift materials and AOV's as well and the render comes out just fine. I am just wondering why the CPU is predominantly being used since Redshift is supposed to be using GPU. Am I missing something? Should I be batch rendering through the Renderview somehow in order to take advantage of the GPU? 2. When using the Redshift Renderview (IPR) I notice that my integrated GPU is predominantly being used rather than my dedicated GPU. I would like to take advantage of my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, but it seems like the integrated graphics card is being used to render most of the time. Is there a way to get Redshift to focus more on the card I want? Does this have more to do with C4D's settings? I've thought about disabling the Integrated card at certain times. Would I be able to enable it again easily if I do this? I like to use multiple monitors so I would prefer to keep both cards running but just make sure Redshift is taking advantage of my GPU. Thanks for your help and patience.
