  1. hi, I'm doing an external scene, with a peach tree and falling petals, very basic, but as soon as I insert a Dome Light with a hdri inside it darkens the scene. I am inexperienced and I don't know how to proceed with the lights.
I attach photos (on the right render without lights on the left render with dome light and HDRI)

    Thank you

Here is an old tutorial (2018) but in depth on water simulation using X-Particles....specifically on making a water fall.  He uses XP 3.5 though.

My biggest take-away was that his cache files were huge -- around 4 to 5 Gb.  Here is a screen shot of the finished piece from his tutorial:

I think that is the same look that you are trying to achieve.

May I ask a simple question: A "free" copy of the latest X-Particles?  How did you come by that?

Hi, unfortunately it does not really show how it is built, but from some notions that, although fundamental, do not manage to replicate a good effect. There's more?

    Thanks

Thank you very much for the reply, I see the tutorial immediately.

I simply have X particles for 30 days with the trial license.

Hi, sorry for the delay, but I have not received the notification, in the meantime I have completed the profile.

Anyway, I have the R19 / 20 version of C4D and yes, I have X Particles available for now the trial version (so the latest version) ... As I had also opted to use X Particles to do this type of effect.

I am also doing several tests, but I can't get close to the effect I posted ...

P.S I can use either the standard render engine, both redshift and both vray 3.6
