  1. Hello, I a massive problem, I really need help on that one. I did a short film, with about 120shots. in c4D and octane. I need to send it to a renderfarm but there is always 1 file that messes everything, because it's path is set to absolute instead of relative. I've tried everything, but it doesn't seem to want to work. That file is a vdb cloud, that I use as fog in an octane volume. Do you have a solution for me ? My next guess was to transform that volume object to an obj or something like this, but it doesn't do anything for me. I'v tried with alembic, but doesn't work either. I'v tried with volume mesher, but I don't know, maybe it doesn't work with octane volume ? Does someone have a solution pleaaaaaase. Thank you very much.
  2. OK WOW! I'm so sorry. I've been really dumb on that one. Guess what happened ? I moved the camera path and forgot about it.
  3. Hi there, I've tried everything and still can't figure it out. I have A camera in c4d that I want in AE. - The camera is a simple keyframed camera just on position and rotation. - I've tried baking the camera - I've tried with cineware extract and with a AEC. Nothing is working, the begining of the movement is perfect and then, it shifts. Here is the project file. Is anyone succesfull in importing and positioning a poster in that pannel ? LPV_SHOT01-test camera no octane.c4d
  4. Hi there, I'm sure this question have been asked a million times, but I can't seem to get it. I want to create an atmospheric fog in my scene. So I tried with medium in an octane sky, and also tried with a vdb cloud. The vdb cloud is taking way too long to render, as I'm trying to set-up an animation here. And the medium in octane sky is shorter but I stil have a lot of noise. I've tried to put the samples of the police's lights up, but then as expected my main moonlight light gets noisy. Here are some visuels of the original scene, with medium and with vdb. Does anyone have a solution to it ? I can send my scene to anyone that ask for it. original scene: medium scene: VDB scene:
  5. I tried with the bridge tool, but it's just creating new polygons. I would need the points of my patch to move and stick to the points of my car. I could move them by hand, but it's not precise enough. Is there a tool that allows to say, "you point, you move here and stick to this other point". ?
  6. I tried your techniques, but no, still can't make it work. I was thinking. Is there a way I could create a plane with as many points (on the outside) as my hole need, and then link those points of my plane to the points of the car ? Like a patch.
  7. Alright, thank you for being clear, I'll try that.
  8. Hello, I'm very new here, and also very new at c4d. As you can see attached, I'm trying to get rid of this car's wheels. So I'm also trying to get rid of the holes of the wheels. I thought selecting the points and welding them would work, but I always can see the polygons in the final render. I know it's because of the "complex" geometry of the model, so is there a way I could get rid of this ? Or another method to try ? I looked for tutorials and discussions, but couldn't find anything really. Maybe I lack vocabulary. Could someone help me ? Thank you.
