  1. Hmmm, there is one more option, I can change in Preferences\Viewport Display\ Handles - - - Spline Size - - - but all my controllers should be a splines.
  2. Thanks Cerbera and Vizn. I was scared about this kind of answer, because I know everyone mentioned. I am using OM, because, it's most practical of all for me. But this is my list of controllers, list of joints is similar, so wheel on my mouse is hot and dried. Rectangle selection or other shape of null is only kind of patch instead of normal using. I started using controllers created from geomtery with transparent material, but transparency is still displaying like pointed structure (but for me best solution). Vizn locking layer I mentioned in top of conversation: " I don't want turn off and on selectability of layer with geometry" , because when I am rigging or skinning I need to selecting bones, controllers and meshes all around, and it's annoying still lock and unlock layer. It's good when you are animating, and nothing other. I am always fascinated and surprised what is possible to do in Cinema, and always fascinated and surprised how can be things used or done more complicated than necessary. It would not be enough to select the thing I want to select, like in other thousands software 🙂? Anyway thank you very much for complex answers.
  3. Hi, maybe it's funny question, but is there an option how to select null when the geometry is behind it? Most of time I am rigging and skinning, and I don't want turn off and on selectability of layer with geometry. I need some tolerance around of selection, and I can't find any way how to select null in place where is overlapping geometry. Still selecting a cube behind the null. Thank you very much.
  4. Hi, Please do you have some tip, if I can see in timeline (Dope Sheet / F-Curve Mode) only selected object, which is child of other, while animating in active Relative animation layer? This Link settings doesn't work. Still see only Parent/Main Root/Null.. Or this settings works only in Default Layer or without Motion System. It's crazy animate in Rel Layers when Character have 90 controllers and you see them all in timeline. Of course it's same in R25.

  6. Hi, please is this the bug or is there some secret setting for solve it? When I add Relative animation layer and try to keyframe Pos/Scl/Rot, in it, even that I have turned on all of these parameters, Rotation remains without keyframes It's in R23, I'll try it in R25...
  7. Hi everyone, please tried anyone animate directly in Motion Layers and Motion Clips. I see that in F-Curve editor can be added a keyframes, but only on objects that already had the animation tracks when Motion Clip was created. How can I add the keyframe on object, which is in Motion Clip hierarchy, but wasn't animated yet? And second important thing, is there an option animate in selected Motion Layer and Motion Clip directly in viewport and with Autokeying? It looks like that Motion Layer is overriding an animation which is on original object, but when I try to animate new keyframe appears on original object not in selected Motion Layer and Clip, so It's added and overrided. It's absolutely useless. The Goal is to simplify workflow only to Motion Layers, not lingering combination of animation layers abs/rel mode, then creating clips and back if any change is needed. Motion clips has abs/rel/mix mode, also are able to be keyframed in F-curve and Dope Sheet, there is only one or two steps to get it amazing. Filtering selected Motoin Clip/Motion Layer in F-Curve editor, filtering selected Object in Motion clip and animate in selected Motion layer like in Animation Layers. Are there these options? It's kind of doubled, both with something good needed in each other system. Thank you.
  8. I have the same problem, it doesn't depend on perspective viewport. Same problem is in orthographic viewport, and sometimes it's happened and sometimes not. I can't see logic in it.

  11. Hi everyone. Please is there any option, how to add Motion Clip with animation of position of object from Character to the same Character in different scale, but proportional in the same place? Like in picture, that hands will be on smaller Character in scale ratio on same place to the face, like on larger Character ? Not in same position values of IK bones? I know that I can do that by rotation of FK bones, but it could be nice have to divide it somehow 🙂 Thank you.
  12. Alright I found the solution. I didn't realize how I did it on symmetry components which works. Rig part with all component tags must be mirrored with mirror tool, and not to be created separately on L/R side. On more complex parts I did it like this and on one bone components I made a separate L/R components that don't accept mirror setting in component tag.

  15. Hi, please could you help me, I tried everything, when I building rig with this character template example, after adding second ear (R_Ear) Cinema always crashing. It's absolutely simple example of rig, recreated by face rig template. I recreated whole face_rig, everything works fine, just ears not. Please could you have a look on this scene and try it like character template, and try help me please? I think that problem is in mirroring components of bones. Thank you very much.   16. Ok, from support: it's bug, but not solution for me 😉 , only one thing is working, recreating whole rig.
  17. My license seems to be ok, it is green and online. But it looks like Face Rig character template is not reloading changes at all.. Is it bug?
  18. Hello, don't you know, when I added edited c4d face rig character template under my own character template, it stops reloading changes in rig. Is there some license block, or it does because I have there some error? Thank you. Need I recreate it?

  21. Hi @Mike A Did you solve naming with zeros starting suffix? I tried $$$N, 3$N, $3N, and nothing happened. Or somebody knows how to do that? $N works, but starts with one digit... Thanks.
