Cinema 4D Keyframes not showing on dope sheet and missing summary folder

I'm new to C4d, I've created a camera animation around and object with keyframes. The animation plays and exports fine. However in the Dopesheet there are no keyframes showing, and there is also no summary folder. If I add a new animation, its still not added to the dope sheet. But if I start a new project, the keyframes and summary folder are there.... any ideas how to fix? Thanks
