  1. test3_.mov actually got rid of the intersections... kind of
  2. Untitled 2_.mov Tried following your steps. haven't got to adding the ropes yet, got abit stuck when doing a radial cloner and got some intersections in the inside. Untitled.mov
  3. That's ace! So much for step 1 of 100! xD
  4. Love corridor crew and I remember this one! Displacement maps could work well here. This is the closest I could find on YT, great but rather a parachute than an entire balloon...
  5. ^ Exactly this, it's going to be such a quick deployment, I don't think I need to get technical about how it assembles into the full chute. I'm only just started thinking about this so I haven't got anything to show, but it's going to come out of the back of a bomb, like a nuke. I appreciate the post(s)
  6. Hey, I'm open to an alternative solution to it. But dynamics usually imitate the realistic cloth effects, unless there is a better way?
  7. Apologies if this is under the wrong sub but I'm been scouring the internet for advice on how to create a brake parachute deploying in C4D with dynamics, there's quite a few on blowing up balloons but it's essentially a dynamic cloth starting scrunched up and then opens up into the shape of a parachute. I think this would be something along the lines of having a model of a parachute, making it dynamic with a cloth tag but the bit I can't seem to figure out is making it start compressed into a small package and it dynamically opens up. Thanks,
